Adapted from an early 20th century geologic survey of the lower Mississippi, this view isolates a sweeping bend's many paths over 200 years. The river and its surrounding topography are rendered in sharp relief. What reads at first as abstraction resolves into geography: a record of water negotiating land over time. The curve captures both change and inevitability - a celebration of fluidity and persistence.
